Job description :
Asenium is seeking an experienced consultancy in Functional Analysis with a strong background in the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module and taxes to join our Merchant team for the deployment of the Value Content project.
For this long-term contract project we are open to hire as a permanent position if required.
In this role you:
Will have a deep understanding of SAP ECC or S/4HANA platforms and will be responsible for identifying requirements, delivering and managing Merchant application software and configuration supporting the internal customers’ needs while keeping the processes and tools as standard and integrated as possible.
The consultant will participate as well to the support and post go-live activities.
Deliverables we expect:
- Based on high-level business requirements channeled through the Product Management and the Product Owner, recommend solutions to Agile Release
- Train Management during the feasibility study and the benefits and ways to measure them.
- Advise Product Owner, Solution Architects and internal customers on potential solutions and business case.
- Collect, refine and review the detailed business specifications with internal customers.
- Analyze the detailed impact on existing processes (internal and interfaces/integration with other modules or solutions in the end to end flow) and on the usage of existing tools supporting these processes (monitoring, measurements, reports, etc.).
- Collect facts on the value realization, estimate alternatives and influence our stakeholders towards the more effective and efficient option while keeping a good relationship with our stakeholders by applying a consultancy approach based on data.
- Define functional requirements of the solution using standard solutions whenever possible.
- Validate detailed functional requirements with internal customers and solution team to ensure that the proposed solution meets their expectations.
- Validate technical requirement with the Internal Business Solution Architect/Developer and support development team during the software implementation.
- Implement and test solution customization while keeping the virtual team and the board updated of the latest progress and impediments.
- Execute end to end functional /regression/performance tests.
- Coordinate user acceptance tests.
- Provide expertise in the integration of the SD module with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, and FI/CO and other applications in our landscape.
- Produce user documentation and educational materials to facilitate user understanding and adoption.
- Deliver the agreed solution on-time, within budget and according to specifications.
- Hand-over the solution to internal users and support team.
- Perform the application functional support (customer/production) when requests are received from second level support.
- Propose enhancements to avoid failure, improve user experience, total cost of ownership and performance.
The ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a functional analyst in SAP SD module.
- Proven experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA platforms.
- Strong understanding of sales order management, pricing, billing, and integration processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-cultural distributed Agile team.
- Fluent in English.

- Troubleshooting skills to address SAP SD-related issues promptly.

- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and across departments.

- Willingness to stay updated on SAP SD module enhancements, best practices, and industry trends.
