Job description :
In the context of Billing Automation Service revamping through the Order to Cash program, Ordering and Billing Services needs to develop internally standard knowledge and capabilities on the brand-new SAP BRIM technologies related to the modules Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Charging (CC) and Convergent Invoicing (CI).
As BRIM sends the billing items into SAP SD S4, expertise is needed as well on this key module for the billing process.
In this role you:
Identify, deliver and manage the Order-to-Cash solution components in SAP SD supporting the internal customers’ needs while keeping the end-to-end processes and tools as standard and integrated as possible
Deliverables we expect:
- Collect and review the detailed business specifications with internal customers and the Product Owners/Solution Definition Managers.
- Based on high level business requirements, design and propose to Product Owners, Solution Definition Managers and Solution Architects solutions and alternative ways to manage the requirements based on the standard capabilities of BRIM and S/4 platform, mainly SD module.
- Analyze the detailed impacts on existing processes end-to-end, from User Experience, Mediation, Billing till Data Analytics with the Functional Analysts on SOM, CC and CI, and with the Business Analysts in BST team.
- Analyze the detailed impacts on SD module including the standard developments done for OTC, using the standard capabilities as much as possible.
- Define functional requirements for the SD solution part using standard SD capabilities whenever possible
- Validate the detailed outcomes of the SD solution after the change with Product Owners, Solution Definition Managers, peer Business Analysts to ensure the integration of SD changes in the end-to-end process integration (Mediation, SOM, CC, CI, Finance and connected applications like distribution and analytics).
- Validate the detailed outcomes of the SD solution after the change with internal customers to ensure that the proposed solution meets their expectations.
- Validate technical requirement from TPDS.
- Support TPDS development team during the software implementation.
- Implement and test solution customization/configuration in SD module
- Execute end to end functional /regression/performance tests across BRIM and S/4 components including own customization and software developments from TPDS.
- Coordinate user acceptance tests with internal customers and Operations team.
- Produce user documentation and educational materials to facilitate user understanding and adoption (internal customers and Operations).
- Deliver the agreed solution on-time, within budget and according to specifications.
- Propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance based on Operations improvement items.
- Review and validate the integration of the fix proposal from the support team into the end-to-end process and consistency of the Billing Automation processes in SD.
The ideal candidate
- University degree in Business or Scientific studies, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years in a Business Analyst/Functional Analyst role on SAP SD
- Good knowledge in internal IT processes and general IT concepts
- Expert in SAP Convergent Invoicing standard configuration and capabilities
- Good knowledge on SAP SD capabilities, components’ integration end-to-end till the document distribution.
- Good knowledge in SAP BRIM is a plus.
- Good knowledge in ways to automate recurrent users’ activities without needing to develop automation in SAP SD (Robotic Process Automation with UiPath)
- Good knowledge in data analysis in standard tools (Excel Macros, VBA, Python) to support our analysis and measurements
- Good knowledge in process design tools
- Knowledge in Dell Boomi process design and scripting
